About us
Coffee with a lion's share of care.
Grid Coffees is a small, serious coffee project being built in Dhaka — a roastery and a café that we'd want to sit in ourselves. It opens soon. Here's what it is while you wait.
The story so far
It started the way most good coffee stories do: a few people who loved coffee more than was reasonable, comparing notes on beans, roasts and water, and deciding the city deserved a place that took it all seriously without taking itself too seriously.
We're building that place now — sourcing green beans carefully, dialing in roasts on our own equipment, and designing a café meant for lingering: good light, good seats, and a bar where the barista actually talks to you.
The lion on our cup? Because a grid is what you plan in, and a lion is how you show up. You'll get it better over a flat white.
What we care about
Sourced with names
We buy beans we can trace — farm, region, harvest. If we can't tell you where it grew, we don't serve it.
Roasted on site
Small-batch roasting in our own roastery, so what lands in your cup left the drum days ago, not months.
A place to stay
Not a pickup window. A café with room to work, meet, or do nothing — coffee worth lingering over.
